Birdwatching at Ruta San Lorenzo
Mindo was declared the first IBA (Important Bird Area) of South America in 1997; since then it is known worldwide for the wonderful birds to be found. The San Lorenzo mountain range is one of the most popular routes in the area for bird watching (toucans, tanagers, flycatchers, turkeys and more) due to the enormous bio diversity .
This activity includes a guide, all the necessary equipment; telescope, binoculars, pointer and field guide.
Approximate duration: 4 hours
Costs for 1 – 4 pax: $ 50 dollars
